Katherine, 91, passed away May 1, 2012 at Scottish Rite Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, at Merle Hay Funeral Home, with burial at Chapel Hill Gardens.
Mary Katherine Drew, daughter of Lawrence and Leah (Truman) McVey, was born August 16, 1920 in Chariton. She grew up in the Knoxville area and graduated from Knoxville High School. Katherine was united in marriage with Cloyde Drew on February 2, 1940. She enjoyed sewing and collecting various items.
Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Cloyde.
She is remembered by her sons, Dwain (Mary Ann) and Mark (Kathleen) Drew; her seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Alberta McMulin and Wuanita Maxson; and several nieces and nephews.
